20_2_1_rival_race is a Sprint event that was used for content development towards Need for Speed: Most Wanted.
The event can be found in the game files of the released game and the PlayStation 2 demo, but was only used for game play in the demo[1].
The opponents have preset cars, and finishing the event in the released game will crash it as some pursuit mini-game code used in the PlayStation 2 demo is missing from the released game. Winning it will reward the player with $10,000.
