Template:InfoboxCar2The Aston Martin DBS is a grand tourer, positioned and priced higher than the Aston Martin DB9. It was featured in the recent James Bond movies 'Casino Royale' and 'Quantum of Solace'. Production began in 2007 and ceased in 2012, where the DBS was replaced with the 2012 Vanquish.

Need for Speed: World

Template:NFSWlink From March 15th, 2012 to March 28th, 2012, the DBS was released as a top-up gift in Need for Speed: World, which was replaced by the Porsche Panamera Turbo. Since then it had been purchaseable for SpeedBoost only.

Since August 22nd, 2012, it has been featured as a A Class vehicle. An in-game cash variant was added on September 5th, 2012, which was retired on November 14th, 2012 but re-released on February 20th, 2013.

The DBS can be bought for SpeedBoost4,700 with American Speedsystems Street Tuned parts installed as standard. It has a 699 overall rating. The in-game cash version has a 665 overall rating. It costs Dollar icon1,800,000. Both variants are upgradeable to S Class.

Acceleration of the DBS is relatively powerful in contrast to the fastest A Class cars in the game. It only gains a moderate amount of speed when using nitrous. The DBS turns well in both slow and quick turns without being handful. Top speed is 191 mph (308 km/h). The SpeedBoost purchaseable variant reaches 215 mph (346 km/h) as top speed.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (2010)

The Aston Martin DBS appears in Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (2010) as a Super class vehicle for Racers and Rapid Deployment unit for SCPD players.

The SCPD version is unlocked upon collecting 88,000 bounty, making it the first Rapid Deployment vehicle to be unlocked in the game. The racer version is only playable in the SCPD Rebels Pack DLC for the PS3 and Xbox 360 releases.

The DBS has a heavy steering and average acceleration. It is not as competitive in races as a Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 or Aston Martin V12 Vantage but still useful in police chases.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2012)

The DBS appears in the Movie Legends Pack DLC for the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 releases of Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2012).
