— In-game description

Atlantica is a course in Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit and the PC release of Need for Speed: High Stakes.

Course[]

The course takes place in a clean and futuristic city with numerous gardens along the coastline on a boulevard called Atlantica Drive. It is comprised of straight and twisting roads. The player can spot a tour blimp flying in the sky around the boardwalk. In the PlayStation release, passing rapid transit trains can also be seen on elevated tracks at two points of the map.

Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit[]

It is available from the beginning in both the PC and PlayStation releases.

The police vehicles patrolling the course in Hot Pursuit mode are the Ford Crown Victoria in the PlayStation release or the Ford Falcon EL in the PC release.

The musical pieces "Rear Flutterblast #19" by Matt Ragan and "Aquila 303" by Rom Di Prisco will play when participating in an event along the course.

Need for Speed: High Stakes[]

It is set in the United States and is unlocked by competing in Circuit #2: Memory Lane.

The police vehicles patrolling the course are the Chevrolet Camaro Z28 and the Chevrolet Caprice.
