The Audi TT RS appears as a Class A car in Need for Speed: Nitro.

Need for Speed: World

Template:NFSWlink The Audi TT RS was added on February 2nd, 2011 as a rentable Tier 2 vehicle to Need for Speed: World. On March 15th, 2011, it was made available for SpeedBoost. On November 4th, 2011, it was made availabe for in-game cash. Since August 22nd, 2012, it has been featured as a 'C' Class vehicle. The in-game cash variant has been removed from the car dealer since November 14th, 2012.

The stock Audi TT RS has a 428 overall rating and was purchaseable for Dollar icon750,000. The SpeedBoost version is upgraded with Amerikon Speedsystems street tuned parts, which increase its overall rating to 496. It costs SpeedBoost2,600.

The acceleration of the TT RS is among the best compared to the rest of the C Class. It does however come at the expense of a unrensponsive handling, which is due to the heavy mass of the vehicle. The car has a good nitrous boost and can reach a top speed of 160 mph (258 km/h). The SpeedBoost version is capable of 178 mph (286 km/h). It is suitable for Pursuit and Drag events.

Special Variants

The TT RS was released in an Art Director "Vesna" theme on July 5th, 2011. It was temporary available as a Top-Up Gift until August 8th, 2011.

It is notable for being customised with a series of Aftermarket Parts and a unique paint job. It shares the same overall rating with the SpeedBoost purchaseable variant.

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (2010)

The Audi TT RS appears in Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (2010) as a Performance class Racer vehicle and as a Highway Patrol class police vehicle. The Racer version is unlocked by default in the Limited Edition release, whilst the SCPD variant is unlockable for 38,000 bounty points.

The TT RS has a top speed of 185 mph (298 km/h). It accelerates faster than most Performance class cars such as the Maserati GranTurismo S and is capable of exiting corners quickly. Its handling is perfectly suitable for short drifting manoeuvres.

Trivia

  • Before the August 24th, 2011 patch was applied in Need for Speed: World, the Audi TT RS became RWD after installing performance parts on it.
