Revision as of 19:21, 24 October 2018
The BMW M1 Procar is a race car from BMW that was used between 1979 and 1980 in the BMW M1 Procar Championship.
The M1 Procar Championship was created due to motorsport rules and regulations having changed during the M1's development, which prevented it from entering most motorsport events.
Need for Speed: Shift
The M1 Procar appears in Need for Speed: Shift as part of the downloadable Exotic Racing Series Pack for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It is featured as a tier 4 car with a 13.00 car rating.
Need for Speed: World
The M1 Procar first appeared in Need for Speed: World during the fifth Spot the Devs contest event on March 23, 2012, being driven by the game developers and community managers.
It was made available for purchase as a tier 3 car on the same day. Since August 22, 2012, it has been featured as an A class vehicle.
The M1 Procar is one of the fastest A class cars and superior to every BMW in terms of performance. It has a powerful acceleration and nitrous boost. Its handling is useful for exiting tricky corners quickly, but might feel loose under hard cornering. Top speed is 216 mph (348 km/h).
