Template:Infobox car The BMW M1 Procar was a race car from between 1979-1980, where it competed in the BMW 1 Procar Championship, which was created because the M1 wasn't allowed to participate in any other motorsports racing tournaments. The M1 itself was a mid-engined homologation model, so the car could meet Group 4 regulations.
Overview
Shift Series
In Need for Speed: Shift, the M1 can be added to the game after installing the Exotic Racing Series DLC for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
In Shift 2 Unleashed, the car can be normally purchased by players, without having to install any downloadable content.
