Need for Speed: World

Template:NFSWlink The M6 Convertible was released on July 6th, 2012 as a Tier 2 vehicle. It is purchaseable for SpeedBoost2,500. The M6 Convertible is upgraded with Amerikon Speedsystems street tuned parts and has an overall rating of 665. It costs SpeedBoost4,000.

Performance-wise, the M6 Convertible is nearly identical to the Coupe with the difference of a lower top speed of 178 mph (286 km/h). It can reach 193 mph (311 km/h) with nitrous.

Special Variants

An Art Director version was released on August 17th, 2012, which is known as "Monochrome." It is currently unavailable for purchase.

The Monochrome variant is fitted with the same performance parts as seen on the standard version. The two tone paint job of the Monochrome consists of BMW vinyls and is inspired by the BMW Concept 1 Series tii[1]. Neon, a "RNFHR3R" licence plate, BBS wheels and a body kit are included as standard aftermarket parts.

The M6 Convertible is featured in Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (2010) as a Super class Racer vehicle. It can be played by racers only and is unlocked upon the player earning 593,000 bounty in the Racer career.

  • In Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, the M6 Convertible can be selected in Alpine White, Black Sapphire Metallic, Indianapolis Red Metallic, Interlagos Blue, Monaco Blue Metallic Sepang Bronze Metallic, Silverstone or Stratus Gray Metallic.
  • The BMW M6 Convertible in Need for Speed: World does not use its inner headlights, although the Coupe utilises them, along with the outer headlights.
  • The licence plate of the Monochrome Convertible is a wordplay of the German word "Rennfahrer", which means race driver in English.
