Carbon Motors was a car manufacturer founded in 2003 with the express intent of developing police vehicles. The company was established by a former police officer and a former Ford executive.
The company was denied a loan by the USA government's Department of Energy in 2012 and vacated their Connersville plant in March 2013. The company only produced the Carbon Motors E7 Concept.
