After the player is betrayed and accused of murdering Chau Wu by Chase Linh, Chase drives away in Chau's Porsche 911 GT2, as the player turns the other direction to avoid incoming police. The player is required to catch up to Chase by any means necessary and arrest her.
Whilst in pursuit of Chase, Jack M. Keller calls and informs the player that Carmen Mendez told him everything she knows. With the testimony of Chase's actions leading to Chau's death, he calls off the cops pursuing the player, and orders the player to focus on apprehending Chase.
