The 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Sport Coupe 283 V-8 Powerpack is a rear-wheel drive, full-size car manufactured by Chevrolet.
It is the last model year revision of the second generation model in the Bel Air range which started in 1955.
Details normally reserved for more expensive GM cars-aluminum fender louvers, styled wheel covers, color-keyed interiors of Jacquard-loomed cloth were packaged in a sharp-edge body that put an end to the bulbous look of the time.
For 1957, the Small Block V8 engine was offered in 283 cubic inches, and came with either two-barrel or four-barrel carburetion, as well as an Ramjet a fuel injection option, which provided impressive horsepower although was very expensive.
