The 1967 Chevrolet Camaro is the first distinct generation of the Camaro pony car manufactured by Chevrolet.
Manufactured on the then new rear-wheel drive GM F-body platform, which was shared with the Pontiac Firebird, the first generation Camaro was offered with a 230 cubic inch straight-6 engine as standard, although several V8 alternatives would be made available as options.
Various package options would be offered throughout its production run, including the RS, SS, and Z28.
