The 2004 Chevrolet Cobalt SS is a sporty compact car that was manufactured by Chevrolet powered by an LSJ 2.0L I4 engine with an Eaton supercharger.
Need for Speed: Most Wanted
The Cobalt SS appears in Need for Speed: Most Wanted.
It has the worst handling statistics, out of the three starter cars, with it being more prone to understeer, but it makes up for it with a great top speed and, fully upgrading, has greatly improved acceleration and handling.
A custom Cobalt SS is offered in the Challenge Series and can be driven in two events:
- #27 - Tollbooth: Complete "Hwy 201 & Hwy 99" in less than three minutes and thirty seconds.
- #28 - Cost to State: Earn 50,000 cost to state in a Heat Level 3 pursuit and evade.
It can not be unlocked for use in any events or game modes outside of its two Challenge Series events.
