The Chevrolet Cobalt SS (2004) is a sport compact car from Chevrolet. It was launched with an Eaton supercharger with 2.0 litre LSJ I4 engine.
Need for Speed: Most Wanted
The Cobalt SS appears in Need for Speed: Most Wanted. It is available from the beginning of the career mode and costs $26,000, making it the cheapest car in the game.
It has the worst handling statistics out of the three starter cars but it's very responsive and grippy. Fully upgrading the SS will greatly improve its acceleration and top speed.

Need for Speed Carbon: Own the City
The Cobalt SS appears in Need for Speed Carbon: Own the City. It is unlocked once the player defeats Marcus.

The Cobalt SS appears in Need for Speed: ProStreet as a Tier 1 vehicle. The player can receive a Cobalt SS as a reward for succesfully Dominating the first Battle Machine Race day: Nevada.
