The 2005 Chevrolet Corvette (C6) is the sixth generation Corvette from Chevrolet. It was discontinued in February 2013 with the release of the Corvette C7 in 2014.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted

The Corvette C6 appears in Need for Speed: Most Wanted.

It suffers somewhat from understeer, but comes with quick acceleration and a high top speed. Having a front-engine configuration, it can effectively ram police vehicles.

Stock

The stock Corvette C6 is unlocked through the Career mode upon the player defeating Blacklist Rival #5: Wes "Webster" Allen.

Upon being unlocked, it can be purchased in the Career mode from a Car Lot for 80,000 cash, and it can be selected for customisation in My Cars.

Wes "Webster" Allen's

Wes "Webster" Allen drives a customised Corvette C6, which is made available as a Bonus car for use in Quick Race or multiplayer after he is defeated in the Career mode. It can not be selected for customisation in My Cars.

It can be added to the player's garage in the Career mode as a possible pink slip reward from one of three mystery Bonus Markers offered after defeating Blacklist Rival #5: Wes "Webster" Allen.

Tuned

The tuned Corvette C6 is included with the Black Edition release and is available from the beginning as a Bonus car for use in Quick Race or multiplayer.

Challenge Series

A custom Corvette C6 is offered in the Challenge Series and can be driven in two events:

• #9 - Tollbooth: Complete "North Bay & Chase" in less than two minutes and fifty seconds.
• #10 - Roadblocks: Dodge two police roadblocks in a Heat Level 3 pursuit and evade.

It can not be unlocked for use in any events or game modes outside of its two Challenge Series events.

Need for Speed: ProStreet

The Corvette C6 appears in Need for Speed: ProStreet as a tier 3 vehicle with a price tag of $69,000. It is unlocked upon the player winning the Super Promotion Showdown: Chicago race day.

It's considerably cheaper than the Z06 but is not as powerful. The car is recommendable as it can become well adapted to Grip and Speed race events with a properly altered tuning blueprint.
