The 1969 Chevrolet Nova is a muscle car manufactured by Chevrolet, and part of the 1969 to 1972 model year revision of the third generation Nova.
In 1969, the model's previous "Chevy II" nameplate was retired, becoming simply known as the Chevrolet Nova in 1970 after a transitional "Chevrolet Chevy Nova" nameplate in the previous year.
Considered a muscle car of compact dimensions, the Nova has a 307 cu. inch (5.03 L) as its base V8 engine, although larger options were also made available.
