Chrysler is an American car manufacturer based in Auburn Hills, Michigan and was founded in 1925 by Walter Chrysler.
The Chrysler automotive group mainly consists of the Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep brands.
Chrysler's sales and vehicles suffered in the mid 2000s due to a series of poor decisions made by its owners at the time - Daimler Benz. Chrysler was later purchased by Fiat.
The Ram and SRT names became independent brands in 2009 and 2012 as a part of the company's reconstruction. The SRT brand was dissolved in 2014.
