The first generation was produced from 1983 to 1990. The newest generation (Generation V) has been in production since 2007.
Generation V is based on Chrysler's RT platform, which is also used by the Chrysler Town & Country and Volkswagen Routan.
Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (2010), Need for Speed: The Run and Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2012) feature the pre-facelift Generation V Dodge Grand Caravan as AI traffic car. The vehicle cannot be driven in any title.
