The Ferrari 355 F1 Berlinetta is a mid-engine sports coupe built by Ferrari between 1997 and 1999.
The F355, introduced in 1994, would be equipped three years later with a Formula One style paddle gear shift electrohydraulic manual transmission to become the 355 F1, allowing the driver to not have to take their hands off of the steering wheel whilst changing gears.
An open-top Spider entered production alongside the F1 Berlinetta in 1997.
It is an evolution of the Ferrari 348 and was replaced by the Ferrari 360 in 2000. The F1 Berlinetta and Spider were the only models in the 355 series to be equipped with a Formula One gearbox.

Need for Speed II
The 355 F1 Berlinetta appears in Need for Speed II: Special Edition with a C class rating and a top speed of 185 mp/h (298 km/h).
It doesn't possess quick acceleration compared to its class, but compensates with a high top speed.
Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit
The 355 F1 Berlinetta appears in the PlayStation release of Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit as a B class vehicle.
It possesses one of the best performance figures in its class. Its quick acceleration, combined with its agility, make it a fast car on every race course. It is also capable of a high top speed due to the six-speed transmission. As other Ferrari and Mercedes vehicles, it is not allowed in Hot Pursuit mode.
