The 2015 Ferrari 488 GTB (Gran Turismo Berlinetta) (F142M) is a mid-engine V8 supercar produced by Ferrari.

Revealed at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, the 488 replaced the 458 with production starting in September 2015, following on from the 458's production ceasing in mid 2015.

Although the 458 was named to reflect it being fitted with a 4.5-litre engine with 8 cylinders, the 488's name is in reference to each cylinder of its engine having a 488cc capacity.

Fitted with a twin-turbocharged 3.9-litre V8, it produces 99 more horsepower and 162 more lb⋅ft of torque with 600cc less displacement. Although it is the first turbocharged mid-engine Ferrari since the F40, a smaller displacement configuration of the F154 had been used in the front-engine California T.

To assist the driver, it includes the F1-Trac tractions control system, an electronic "E-Diff" differential, and "SSC2"; an updated version of Ferrari's Slip Slide Control software.

In 2018, the 488 Pista - a more powerful track-focused trim - was revealed at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show. The 488 model range was succeeded by the F8 Tributo in February 2019, with production ceasing in mid 2019.

The 488 GTB '15 appears in Need for Speed: Heat following its brief appearance in the official reveal trailer, which was released on August 14, 2019. An article, revealing it to be part of the game's official car list, was published on August 19, 2019, and appears in the NFS: Heat Studio app as a secret car that's part of container 10, which was released on October 22, 2019.
