The 2009 Fiat 500 is a hatchback coupé manufactured by Fiat.
The 500 concept was unveiled in 2004 at the Geneva Motorshow; this unveiling caused quite a stir in the motoring community as its predecessor had not been seen in the marketplace since 1975.
Finally in 2007 the fiat 500 hit showroom floors, it surpassed 1,000,000 unit sales in 2012. In 2008, Fiat re-introduced the Abarth brand to the general public with the Abarth 500; a sporty, turbocharged, and more aggressive rendition of the standard 500.
Fiat also introduced special editions of its already popular 500 models; a 500 stylised by the Diesel clothing brand from 2008 to 2009, a Ferrari edition in 2008, a "Barbie" edition in 2009, 500 "America" in 2012, and a "Vintage 57" in 2015.
In 2011, coach-building company Zagato gave their rendition of Fiat's 500 at the Geneva Motorshow with a double hump roof, swooping roof line, and 17" chrome shadow wheels.
