Fortune Valley is a vast, arid desert and the setting of which the events of Need for Speed: Payback take place.

It consists of four regions housing 24 major locations, with Silver Canyon spanning the north and east, the city of Silver Rock in the southeast, Liberty Desert in the centre and south, and Mount Providence in the west.

It has an interconnected state highway system covering all four regions in the area.

The persistent Fortune Valley Police Department serves as the area law enforcement.

Regions[]

Silver Rock[]

Silver Rock is a metropolitan city location with resort destinations for gambling and organised crime.

It is also the birthplace of most of the Street Leagues, showing evidence of having a diverse car culture among locals.

Silver Rock consists of five sub-regions, with the Barrio to the northwest, Boomville to the northeast, Lakeside in the southwest, Rustway in the southeast, and Millionaire's Row to the east.

There is a large lake separating Lakeside and Millionaire's Row, having the construction site for the Ark Tower to its south.

Tyler Morgan was born and raised in the Barrio.

Silver Canyon[]

Silver Canyon is the canyon region spanning from the north to the east of Liberty Desert, boasting winding asphalt roads and dirt trails.

Ember Peak is located at the westernmost point with the Ember Valley Visitor's Center in its area.

Silver Dam is located at the northernmost point of the region. Silver Casino Lodge is built next to the easternmost section of the highway going through the canyon.

Liberty Desert[]

Liberty Desert is the open, dry desert containing the Fortune Valley Solar Project to the west and Airfield 73 to the east.

The formerly abandoned Airfield 73 serves as the base of operations for the crew and is home of its mechanic: Rav Chaudhry.

The southern part of Liberty Desert is chiefly uninhabited countryside with the only notable location being Las Almas Church.

Mount Providence[]

Mount Providence peers from the west with many winding roads and forests of large redwood trees Mount Providence is sectioned in three parts.

Diamond Peak has the Cohen Tunnel built through with Marshall Observatory situated at the north.

Mount Grant is located in the centre which contains the tourist town of Braxton and the Soledad Church. Franklin Dome is located at the south.

Fortune Valley Casino & Resort sits upon the westernmost road.
