Ghost Games (formerly known as EA Gothenburg) is a video game developer based in Gothenburg, Sweden. The studio was formed in 2012 by DICE and various former employees of Rockstar Games, SimBin Studios, Slightly Mad Studios and Turn 10 Studios.[1]

Ghost Games is focused on the development of next generation Need for Speed titles. On 22nd October, 2012, Criterion Games confirmed that a new title of the franchise was being worked on by EA Gothenburg.[2] It was officially unveiled as Need for Speed: Rivals by Electronic Arts on 23rd May, 2013.[3]

Need for Speed: Rivals was released on 19th November, 2013. Utilising the Frostbite 3 engine, the title was developed in partnership with Criterion Games.
