Hyundai Tiburon GT

The Hyundai Tiburon GT (or Hyundai Coupe) is a small FWD sports coupe, which is powered by a 2.7L (172HP) V6. It was produced and assembled in Ulsan South Korea from 2001 to 2008. In 2005 and 2007 the GK Coupe has received facelifts including several redesigns.

Appearance in Need for Speed

Need for Speed: Underground

Unlocked during the middle of Underground Mode, the Hyundai Tiburon is considered a good car to drive, if the player has the parts and can handle it. It can outperform cars that are similar to it, thus making it valued among players. However, other cars, such as the Nissan Skyline, Honda S2000, and Mazda MX-5 Miata are arguably better than it, considering their stats and performance.

Need for Speed: Underground 2

The Tiburon returns in Underground 2 and is unlocked in the middle of career. Unlike its counterpart, however, it isn't one of the better cars to use, considering Underground 2 has a wider range of vehicles. It may be good for a while, but as the player gets deeper into career, other cars may outperfrom it, thus making the player want to swap it for another car. However, the Tiburon is arguably one of the best cars in Underground 2 if equipped with Level 3 tuning parts.
