"Into the Fire" is event #94 of Underground Mode in Need for Speed: Underground.
It is offered after the player beats event #92: "Drift Duel" and event #93: "Chad's New Toy".
Beating the event allows the player to proceed to event #95 of Underground Mode: "Kurt's Killer Ride".

The player is invited to a sprint to earn the #3 spot in the Sprint Rankings leaderboard.

The closer to the top you get, the more intense the competition it gets. With the 3 spot on the line, turn up the heat on the competition.
