Alpina provided the car's 5.7L V12 engine that produces 380 bhp and 385 lb-ft of torque. The Nazca C2 has updated design reminiscing from the original Nazca M12 concept, with Italdesign being responsible for the styling, and the project being spearheaded by the founder, Giorgetto Giugiaro.
An open-top variant known as the Nazca C2 Spider was also developed. A total of three prototype units of the Nazca C2 were produced.
Need for Speed II
The Nazca C2 appears in the Special Edition release of Need for Speed II as a class B vehicle, and is available from the beginning.
In its class it provides the second most responsive handling, behind the Ford Indigo.
Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit
The Nazca C2 appears in the PlayStation release of Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit as a class A vehicle, and is available from the beginning.
Although it provides slower acceleration and top speed than the other vehicles in the class, it makes up for this with responsive handling and braking capabilities.
- The PC release of Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit features the Italdesign Scighera instead of the Nazca C2.
- The Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit introduction video has its sequences with the Nazca C2 removed for the PC release.
- Unused showcase files for the Nazca C2 can be found in the European PC release of Need for Speed III: Hot Pursuit.
