Jose appears at the beginning, as well as throughout Underground Mode, driving a silver Volkswagen Golf GTI, which is constantly updated with new aftermarket parts throughout the career. It is unobtainable by the player.

He gives the player many race challenge events, as is a friend to them along with Samantha. His challenges are Circuit events.
