Koenigsegg is a Swedish supercar manufacturer founded in 1994 by Christian von Koenigsegg. Earlier cars were built with Ford's Modular V8 engines, which provided the basics for Koenigsegg's own V8. Koenigsegg has continuously built one of the fastest production cars in the world throughout its history.
Koenigsegg has also invested on making their cars eco-friendly starting from the CCXR and is developing an electric motor for their future cars.
