The 2000 Lamborghini Diablo VT 6.0 is one of the final variants of the Diablo series produced by Lamborghini. Its 6.0L V12 engine is derived from the high-performance Diablo GT and GT-R.

Similar to every model since 1999, the Diablo VT 6.0 uses fixed headlights, a revised suspension, and a new anti-lock braking system.

Games[]

Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2[]

The Diablo VT 6.0 appears in Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 as a class 2 vehicle in the PC, GameCube, and Xbox releases; and as a class B vehicle in the PlayStation 2 release.

The standard variant is unlocked in the PC, GameCube, and Xbox releases upon accumulating 30,000 NFS points. It is unlocked in the PlayStation 2 release upon completing Ultimate Racer event 22 "Lamborghini Lap Knockout".

Due to its quick acceleration, it is an optimal choice for more competitive races. Coupled with its high top speed, the Diablo can easily maintain a fast straight-line performance, but these traits come at the expense of handling; a few cars such as the Ferrari F50 can overtake the Diablo through corners.

NFS Edition[]

The NFS Edition is unlocked in the PC, GameCube, and Xbox releases upon accumulating 60,000 NFS points. It is unlocked in the PlayStation 2 release upon accumulating 2,000,000 NFS points.

Pursuit[]

The Pursuit variant is unlocked in the PC, GameCube, and Xbox releases upon accumulating 60,000 NFS points, but is not featured in the PlayStation 2 release.
