The 2018 Lamborghini Urus is an SUV developed and manufactured by Lamborghini.
First shown as a concept car at the 2012 Bejing Auto Show, the production car was revealed at the Lamborghini's factory in Sant'Agate Bolognese, Italy on December 4, 2017, and is the first SUV produced by Lamborghini since the LM002.
Although the concept car was shown fitted with a 5.2-litre V10 from the Gallardo, the production model has an Audi twin-turbocharged 4.0-litre V8 - also fitted into the Bentley Continental GT V8 -and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (0 to 97 km/h) in 3.4 seconds despite weighting over 2 tonnes.
The all-wheel drive system has a Torsen self-locking differential, splitting torque delivery to be split 40/60 independently of the front and rear axles, and the rear-wheel steering system developed for the Aventador S allows for up to three degrees of turning to work with the torque vectoring rear differential to deliver power appropriately across multiple driving mods.
It was produced from spring 2018 until late 2022 with the Urus S mid-cycle refresh replacing it.
