"Let It Slide" is a Campaign Story mission in Need for Speed: Heat.
It is the fifth mission of the campaign story, with it being the first mission of chapter 2.
The day after Ana's car is impounded by the Danny Shaw, Lucas tells the player he's been asked by a friend for them to go pay him a visit.
Completing the mission will progress the player to "Take On Oscar" and "Take On Nari", the second and third missions of chapter 2 in the Campaign Story.
Prerequisite[]
Before the player can start the mission, they must be at REP LVL 7 or higher and have completed the previous mission from Ana: "Get Noticed".
The mission recommends the player use a car with a 120 performance rating or higher, although the player is given a car for the duration of this mission.
Container Yard, Port Murphy[]
"Hey, Lucas' friend, right?"[]

The start location for the mission is in the container yard in Port Murphy.
Synopsis[]
The player has to meet up with Lucas friend in the container yard in Port Murphy during the day.
Wayne introduces himself to the player and says he's interested in how well they can control a car.
After introducing himself, Wayne invites the player to join him in a quick drift session and gives them a few tips on how to drift a car.

The player must initiate and maintain five separate drifts for 1.50 seconds or longer.
Synopsis[]
Wayne is satisfied the player knows how to initiate a drift, but know what's to see them maintain five drifts.
