The 2006 Lotus Exige S (Series 2) is a high-performance version and coupe version of the Lotus Elise.

Typical for the Lotus Exige's appearance are the black rims, front splitter, rear spoiler, engine cover and small roof scoop.

Production of the Exige S started in 2005. Compared to the regular Exige, this version weighs 29 kg (41 lb) less. In 2010, its exterior design was refreshed.

The Exige S is an unreleased car in Need for Speed: World. It could be found in the game files of Need for Speed: World, but as it was not used, its mesh and texture files were removed in later builds of the game.

Need for Speed: Shift[]

The Exige S appears in Need for Speed: Shift as a tier 3 vehicle with a car rating of 6.30 and a price tag of $120,000. It is unlocked upon collecting 80 stars.

Shift 2: Unleashed[]

The Exige S appears in Shift 2: Unleashed with a C 600 performance index rating and 3.50 handling rating. It is only obtainable as a reward car by completing the Modern C Invitational Event.

Need for Speed: No Limits[]

The Exige S appears in Need for Speed: No Limits as part of the 30th Anniversary update and featured in the "Crew Trials: 2006 Lotus Exige" event that took place from August 6, 2024 at 00:00 (UTC) to August 17, 2024 at 00:00 (UTC). The starting performance rating is 334.

"Love Mobile"

The "Love Mobile" Exige S is unlocked upon successfully delivering it to Rav at his airfield during its rotation period as an abandoned car rumour. It has only been made available as a race class car.

As a unique vehicle, it can not be altered with any visual customisation items, it can not have its paint and wrap modified, and can not be stance tuned. It can, however, be equipped with performance parts and vanity items.

The Exige S "Legendary Custom" is a custom car included with the Vol.4 Catch-Up Pack released on November 15, 2023.

Prior to the release of the catch-up pack, it could be purchased as part of the Exige S Legendary Custom Pack released with Volume 4 on August 16, 2023, which would also add 10 Speed Pass levels towards the player's progression of the Vol.4 Speed Pass.

It can be purchased from the "Buy Stock" section of the "Buy and Sell" menu in the garage for $74,000 and has a Tier A 164 performance rating.

Story & Lakeshore Online[]

It is gifted as a reward upon the player purchasing its associated downloadable content pack.

Upon being gifted to the player, it is added to both their Story mode and Lakeshore Online mode garages, as well as being made available for purchase from the "Buy Custom" section of the "Buy and Sell" menu in the garage.
