Medion

Medion is a fictional performance parts manufacturer featured in Need for Speed: World.

Their produced parts provide a statistically balanced performance boost depending on the installed component and are highlighted with a beige tint.

All of Medion's parts are of Pro level rarity meaning that they are rare parts that and are not readily available to any user. They are amongst the higher-middle category available for improving vehicle performance. They provide each of their parts in either Improved, Sport or Tuned quality.

Parts produced by Medion are best suited for large displacement engine such as V8 vehicles that lack grip at high speeds. Vehicles producing a similar amount of horsepower and torque at greatly different points across the rev range will also benefit.

Availability

These parts can be acquired either from the Lucky Draw available upon the completion of any event or by purchasing Gold Performance Card Packs.

Cash

Tuned parts were offered as part of a tiered reward for completing a certain number of events during a community challenge. They were made available for Cash within the Performance Shop section of the Safehouse on May 15th, 2015.

Engines produced by Medion spread out the available horsepower and torque across the entire rev range.

Forced Induction

Forced Induction kits produced by Medion increases the available horsepower and torque produced by the engine across a large span of the rev range.

Transmission

Transmissions produced by Medion are designed to keep as much of the produced horsepower and torque going to the vehicle's wheels across a large span of the rev range.

Suspension

Suspension components produced by Medion are designed to provide a greater amount of traction whilst off-road and at high speed. The configuration utilised will create a softer ride at the expense of a greater potential for understeer.

Brakes

Brake kits produced by Medion can provide a great deal of stopping power for any type of vehicle. Each kit is configured with a slight front-wheel braking bias resulting in a greater chance of understeer.

Tyres

Tyres produced by Medion can provide a great deal of grip and traction to vehicles that lack sufficient amounts in either aspect.
