The Mercedes-AMG One (C298) is a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) sportscar manufactured by Mercedes-AMG with development derived from Formula One technology.

It first debuted as the Project One (R50) concept car at the 2017 International Motor Show in Frankfurt, showcasing Formula One hybrid technology for the road.

The highly anticipated production ready model arrived years later in 2022. Unveiled by Lewis Hamilton and Dieter Zetsche, the concept previewed the eventual limited-run sportscar.

It features a 1.6L V6 turbo engine paired with electric motors, producing over 1000 bhp (746 kW). Encased in a carbon-fibre body with active aerodynamics, it is designed for the road but engineered like a race car, delivering record-setting track performance, as well as exceptional handling, through technology derived from the Mercedes F1 W06 Hybrid driven by Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg in the 2015 FIA Formula One World Championship.

It has a limited production run with up to 275 examples planned to be produced.
