Time Trial, or Crew Time Trial, is an event type in Need for Speed: Heat involving timed point-to-point sprints.
Each attempt is timed, with the player's finishing time being compared to friends on their friends list and other members of their crew.
Every route has multiple checkpoints that racers must pass through in order and a ghost car of a player's time will appear alongside the player to compare their time against their designated rival.
Events take place during the day: players earn bank (
) from participating in events hosted by the Speedhunters Showdown and police will not get involved.
