Milestones in Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (2010) are goals that players can meet whilst playing either the SCPD career, the racer career, or across both.

Each milestone has four stages and completing each stage will reward players with additional Bounty, which can progress towards a player's SCPD Cop Rank. Players can track their milestone completion through the Driver Details section of the career map.

Cop Bounty Milestones

Cop Bounty Milestones relate to the player's skills whilst driving as an SCPD officer.

Successful Road Blocks

The total number of road blocks dispatched by a player as an SCPD officer that have been hit by a racer.

  • 2: +1,000 Bounty
  • 10: +2,500 Bounty
  • 25: +5,000 Bounty
  • 50: +10,000 Bounty

Successful Spike Strips

The total number of spike strips deployed by a player as an SCPD officer that have been hit by a racer.

  • 2: +1,000 Bounty
  • 10: +2,500 Bounty
  • 25: +5,000 Bounty
  • 50: +10,000 Bounty

Successful EMPs

The total number of electromagnetic pluses by a player as an SCPD officer that gained a lock-on and hit a racer.

  • 1: +1,000 Bounty
  • 5: +2,500 Bounty
  • 10: +5,000 Bounty
  • 20: +10,000 Bounty

Successful Helicopter Support

The total number of helicopters deployed by a player as an SCPD officer that have deployed a spike strip and hit a racer.

  • 20: +10,000 Bounty

Total Busts

The total number of racers busted by a player as an SCPD officer.

Racer Bounty Milestones relate to the player's skills whilst driving as a racer.

Successful Jammers

The total number of jammers activated by a player as a racer that have countered deployed cop equipment.

  • 25: +5,000 Bounty
  • 50: +10,000 Bounty

Successful Spike Strips

The total number of spike strips deployed by a player as a racer that have been hit by a cop or racer.

  • 2: +1,000 Bounty

  • 50: +10,000 Bounty

Successful EMPs

The total number of electromagnetic pluses by a player as a racer that gained a lock-on and hit a cop or racer.

The total number of turbos completed by a player as a racer without having it be forcefully deactivated.

The total number of cops wrecked by a player as a racer.

  • 2: +1,000 Bounty

Driving Milestones relate to the player's skills whilst driving as either a racer or an SCPD officer.

Distance Driven

The total distance driven by a player as either a racer or as an SCPD officer.

  • 100 miles (161 km): +1,000 Bounty
  • 500 miles (805 km): +2,500 Bounty
  • 1,000 miles (1,609 km): +5,000 Bounty
  • 1,500 miles (2,414 km): +10,000 Bounty

Distance in Oncoming

The total distance driven in an oncoming lane by a player as either a racer or as an SCPD officer.

  • 20 miles (32 km): +1,000 Bounty
  • 100 miles (161 km): +2,500 Bounty
  • 500 miles (1,609 km): +5,000 Bounty
  • 1,000 miles (1,609 km): +10,000 Bounty

Distance in Drift

The total distance drifting by a player as either a racer or as an SCPD officer.

  • 10 miles (16 km): +1,000 Bounty
  • 20 miles (32 km): +2,500 Bounty
  • 50 miles (80 km): +5,000 Bounty
  • 100 miles (161 km): +10,000 Bounty

Distance on Shortcuts

The total distance driven by a player across shortcuts as either a racer or as an SCPD officer.

  • 5 miles (8 km): +1,000 Bounty
  • 20 miles (32 km): +2,500 Bounty
  • 50 miles (80 km): +5,000 Bounty
  • 100 miles (161 km): +10,000 Bounty

Time in Slipstream

The total amount of time a player has driven slipstreaming another vehicle as either a racer or as an SCPD officer.

  • 15 minutes: +1,000 Bounty
  • 45 minutes: +2,500 Bounty
  • 90 minutes: +5,000 Bounty
  • 120 minutes: +10,000 Bounty

Time at Top Speed

The total amount of time a player has been at, over, or close to the top speed of their vehicle as either a racer or as an SCPD officer.

  • 5 minutes: +1,000 Bounty
  • 15 minutes: +2,500 Bounty
  • 30 minutes: +5,000 Bounty
  • 60 minutes: +10,000 Bounty

Time Using Nitrous

The total amount of time a player has used nitrous as either a racer or as an SCPD officer.

  • 10 minutes: +1,000 Bounty
  • 30 minutes: +2,500 Bounty
  • 60 minutes: +5,000 Bounty
  • 120 minutes: +10,000 Bounty

Nitrous Bars Filled

The total amount of time a player has filled their nitrous bar as either a racer or as an SCPD officer.

  • 10: +1,000 Bounty
  • 50: +2,500 Bounty
  • 100: +5,000 Bounty
  • 200: +10,000 Bounty

Near Misses

The total number of near misses performed by a player as either a racer or as an SCPD officer.

  • 50: +1,000 Bounty
  • 200: +2,500 Bounty
  • 500: +5,000 Bounty
  • 1,000: +10,000 Bounty

Total Crashes

The total number times a player has crashed as either a racer or as an SCPD officer.

  • 5: +1,000 Bounty
  • 20: +2,500 Bounty

The total number of online Hot Pursuit events completed by a player as an SCPD officer.

Interceptors Complete

The total number of online Interceptor events completed by a player as an SCPD officer.

The total number of online Race events completed by a player as a racer.

  • 10: +10,000 Bounty

Hot Pursuits Complete

The total number of online Hot Pursuit events completed by a player as a racer.
