Cop Rank

A Cop Rank in Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered represents the player's current level as a cop within the Seacrest County Police Department, and is tied to the amount of bounty they have earned whilst driving as a cop.

Bounty earned as a cop from events, either in the cop career or online multiplayer, is added to the player's cop bounty and towards their cop rank.

Earning bounty, and reaching higher levels as a cop, will reward the player with access to additional cars across all five performance tiers.

Higher ranking cops will also be placed closer to racers at the beginning of online Hot Pursuit and Most Wanted events than less experienced cops.
