In-game icon

Paint is a selection of visual customisation options featured in Need for Speed: Most Wanted.

Players can choose from three paint categories - Gloss, Metallic and Custom, with the latter featuring chrome, iridescent, matte and pearlescent paint. Applying a new paint to a vehicle will give the player a major decrease of their heat level.

It is also possible for players to paint aftermarket rims, although it will only grant the player a very small decrease of their heat level.
