Most Wanted Races are a series of duels against a driver in the Most Wanted List. Each race starts with a high Heat Level.
Most Wanted Races can be unlocked by earning enough Speed Points to overtake a Most Wanted Driver's spot on the list. These events can be entered at any time.
After winning a duel, the player is now being prompted to chase that car and shut them down to earn its ride through EasyDrive with all three jack spots of the car added to the map.

- Most Wanted racers that successfully escape from the player at the end of a won race will reappear on several occasions during single player Freedrive.
- Most Wanted races can be played in a random order and entered at any time unlike the original Need for Speed: Most Wanted as the player had to race against an opponent to climb up the Blacklist as well as advance their single player career.
- Most Wanted races in the iOS & Android releases require the player to finish in 1st place and under a certain time.
- Players must purchase the Ultimate Speed Pack in order to compete against the Hennessey Venom GT Spyder.
- Players must purchase the Terminal Velocity Pack in order to compete against the Porsche 918 Spyder.
- Players must purchase the Movie Legends Pack in order to compete against the Shelby GT500.
- Players must purchase the Need for Speed Heroes Pack in order to compete against the BMW M3 GTR.
