Need for Speed: Most Wanted (GBA) is a handheld release of Need for Speed: Most Wanted developed by Pocketeers for the Game Boy Advance and made available in November, 2005.
Gameplay[]
Based on the PC and console rendition, the game has street racing and police pursuits, with heat levels indicated by stars. Cars and courses are modelled in 3D.
Quick Play[]
Quick Play allows for single races, including tollbooth and quick races.
Career[]
The Career follows the player as they challenge and defeat 15 Blacklist rivals. Progressing through the career unlocks chapters and points, which can be spent on new cars and upgrades.
- Race Events - Players complete chapters, each containing different events of varying race disciplines; time trial, circuit, point to point, lap knockout, and barricade. Beating them unlocks a challenge against the chapter's Blacklist rival.
- Safehouse - Players can view and upgrade their cars, or buy new ones.
- Rap Sheet - Summary of the player's progress, including cars, scores, and records.
Cars[]
15 cars are available, and players can customise each with performance upgrades: engine, turbo, transmission, brakes, and chassis, and with visual upgrades: body kits, rims, and paint.
