Need for Speed: Most Wanted (GBA) is a handheld release of Need for Speed: Most Wanted developed by Pocketeers for the Game Boy Advance and made available in November, 2005.

Gameplay[]

Based on the PC and console rendition, the game has street racing and police pursuits, with heat levels indicated by stars. Cars and courses are modelled in 3D.

Quick Play[]

Quick Play allows for single races, including tollbooth and quick races.

Career[]

The Career follows the player as they challenge and defeat 15 Blacklist rivals. Progressing through the career unlocks chapters and points, which can be spent on new cars and upgrades.

  • Race Events - Players complete chapters, each containing different events of varying race disciplines; time trial, circuit, point to point, lap knockout, and barricade. Beating them unlocks a challenge against the chapter's Blacklist rival.
  • Safehouse - Players can view and upgrade their cars, or buy new ones.
  • Rap Sheet - Summary of the player's progress, including cars, scores, and records.

Cars[]

15 cars are available, and players can customise each with performance upgrades: engine, turbo, transmission, brakes, and chassis, and with visual upgrades: body kits, rims, and paint.

Soundtrack[]

The soundtracks for the Game Boy Advance and Nintento DS adaptations is composed by Allister Brimble.
