Collectibles in Need for Speed: Payback are a total of 130 items that can be collected by colliding with them using a car.
Each individual collectible has its own location that isn't shown on the player's map until they've driven near an undiscovered collectible.
Successfully collecting a collectible will reward the player with rep and bank. The amount of reputation and bank awarded to the player depends on the collectible they have collected.
Owning the High Roller Pack will add an extra 5% bank and reputation reward to all collectible rewards.
Collectible Types[]
Billboards[]
There are a total of 30 billboards across Fortune Valley; 10 in Mount Providence, 6 in Liberty Desert, 3 in Silver Rock, 3 in Ember Valley, and 8 in Silver Canyon.
Driving through a billboard will count it as being collected, and will be added to the player's journal as being found as well as having a tick next to its icon on the map.
They are highlighted by an icon of a billboard. Nearby billboards will be telegraphed to the player and records its location on the player's map.
Chips[]
There are a total of 100 chips across Fortune Valley; 26 in Mount Providence, 31 in Liberty Desert, 19 in Silver Rock, 5 in Ember Valley, and 19 in Silver Canyon.
Driving into a chip will count it as being collected, and will be added to the player's journal as being found as well as having a tick next to its icon on the map.
They are highlighted by an icon of a casino token. Nearby chips are not telegraphed to the player, but driving close to a chip records its location on the player's map.
Alldrive[]
Collectibles can not be collected in Alldrive. Neither billboards or chips will appear to any players during an Alldrive session.
Progression[]
There are a total of 130 collectibles that can be awarded to players by striking or smashing through collectibles, which count towards the player's progression through the Collectibles section of the Journal.
Unlocks[]
Collecting a number of collectibles will unlock various visual customisation options for cars:
- Front Canards - Collect 5 Billboards (

Awards[]
Collecting all of a certain type of collectible will unlock various awards.
- "All In" - Collide with and collect all 100 chips ().
- "Does Not Obey" - Smash through and collect all 30 billboards ().
