Factory Driver (PC)

Factory Driver is a game mode in Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed, where players are put in the role of an official Porsche test driver working their way through the ranks of the company upon completing missions handed down from various teammates.

Missions are completed in a sequential order, in which players are presented with a new challenge upon successfully completing a mission. If a mission is failed, players are given the opportunity to re-race it as challenges must be complete before progressing to the next mission. Players are given a specific car for each assignment.

It is the only campaign of the game to feature characters and police.

Damage can also be turned off, although during some assignments damage may not be adjustable.

In Factory Driver, players will encounter a set of other Porsche AG employees.

They will brief the player about their assignment at the start of each mission, as well as comment on the event's results.

Missions

Mission types vary between Slalom, Race, Delivery, Checkpoints, and Time Trial, with events taking place in either a closed slalom segment or an open road including police.

Players earn Test Driver licence promotions as well as reward cars upon completing a variety of missions.
