The Bonus Wheel is a multiplayer reward system in Need for Speed: The Run. The wheel is spun before the first race of a chosen session in a Playlist, and will randomly select an additional reward for players that meet the criteria stated.
The wheel will only be spun once per session of Playlist events, and the chosen reward can not be replaced or altered. A new reward is chosen by the wheel following the next session of events being chosen after the current session of events has condluded.
The rewards offered by the bonus wheel can either be additional experience points, cars, or profile icons. An award can be unlocked for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 releases of Need for Speed: The Run by winning it from the bonus wheel.

A rare car may be offered as a reward from the bonus wheel to the highest 3 overall scoring players at the end of a session. The car rewarded may be different between each player and each is given randomly.
