The Cop Career in Need for Speed: Unbound is a progression path in the Lakeshore Online multiplayer mode.
All players start at Rank 00 with progress towards their Cop Career tied to their performance playing for the Cop Team and completing challenges in Hot Pursuit events.
As a player unlocks a new rank, they are rewarded with either a Pursuit Vehicle or a Pursuit Tech item to equip to a Cop Edition car.
Players can access their Pursuit Vehicles outside of Hot Pursuit events in the Cop Garage section of the Garage.

Rank 00: Introduction[]
As an introductory rank in the Cop Career, the player is given a Ford Crown Victoria (2008) - Cop Edition for use as part of the Cop Team in Hot Pursuit events.
