Drift Event is an event type in Need for Speed: Unbound.

It was introduced as part of Volume 1 in the single-player Story mode and was later made available in the multiplayer Lakeshore Online mode as part of Volume 3 with Drift Playlists.

It is a checkpointed circuit event in which participants earn points by drifting their vehicle.

Up to four participants compete against each other with individual turns along the route to earn points. The winner is the racer that earns the most amount of points from their run of the route.
