Gauntlet

Gauntlet is an event type in Need for Speed: Unbound introduced as part of Volume 4 and is available in the multiplayer Lakeshore Online mode.

Each event has a set performance tier and a set Heat level as players race against each other in the midst of being pursued by the Lakeshore Police Department.

All players have a health meter, which reduces as damage is taken from the LPD and fellow racers. Players can repair their car by driving through any gas stations situated along the route of an event, but they will be busted and knocked out of the playlist if their health is depleted.

Up to eight participants race against each other along the route with the winner being the first racer to reach the finish line.
