Speed Race is an event type in Need for Speed: Unbound.

It was introduced as part of Volume 1 and is available in both the single-player Story mode and the multiplayer Lakeshore Online mode.

It is a circuit or sprint event with a checkpointed route outlined for a high top speed.

Up to eight participants race against each other along the route with the winner being the first racer to reach the finish line.
