Street Race is an event type in Need for Speed: Unbound and was introduced as part of Volume 1.

It is a circuit or sprint event with a checkpointed route along urban roads. Up to eight participants race against each other along the route with the winner being the first racer to reach the finish line.

Events can be accessed at meetup locations in the single-player Story mode as well as the multiplayer Lakeshore Online mode as part of race playlists at meetup locations in free roam or through matchmaking in PvP.
