Volume 5

Volume 5 is the fifth content update for Need for Speed: Unbound.

First announced on October 10, 2023^[1], it was made available on October 12, 2023 at 09:00 UTC / 02:00 PT / 10:00 CET for the PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S releases.

It was succeeded by Volume 6 on February 27, 2024.

As the fifth volume, following on from Volume 4, a decal mask toggle was added to the wrap editor and seven Linkup locations added with Volume 3 were reintroduced - after being removed in favour of seven other locations added in Volume 4 - for a total of fourteen possible Linkup locations in the multiplayer Lakeshore Online mode.

As players participate in Lakeshore Online, the Speed Pass offers rewards for levelling up through 75 levels and reintroduces one hundred fifty previously featured challenges to complete for additional rewards.
