Customisation in Need for Speed: Underground allows players to modify visual components and performance parts of their cars.
As the player progresses through Underground Mode, they will unlock more visual customisation options and higher grade performance packages.
Players can modify unlocked cars outside of Underground Mode in the "Customisation Ride" section of the main menu.
