DVD Cover opportunities are Special Events featured in Need for Speed: Underground 2 that will be rewarded to the player after reaching certain Star Rating minimums. They are part every of any contract the player can sign in.
For some DVD Covers, players can take their own shots of their car by opening the doors, controlling the vehicle and changing camera angles. All DVD Covers can be accessed in the player's garage.
